In regard to specialty chemicals, we produce information recording materials related to photography, photosensitized materials, and copying machines as well as starting materials for electronic materials. With the rapid progress of digitalization in recent years, the changeover of the necessary materials is taking place at a dizzying rate. "Intermediates" are used for (added to) chemicals coated on the surfaces of printing paper and photographic films, chemicals coated on the surfaces of the photoconductor drums inside copying machines, printers, and fax machines. There are also products used in the MPUs (microprocessors) of personal computers.
