The laboratory is at the center of Manac's technologies. Here, in order to create new markets, research is continued on fields not yet handled by the business departments. Backup for high-level education of the business departments is also provided. As a recent movement, we are also promoting development under the "industry-government-academia" linkage with an aim at deploying locally started projects in the global market. Our laboratory shall continue to carry out customer proposition type research and product development in cooperation with the business departments under the theme of: "From Raw Material Chemistry to Material Science." |

[Development of Phos-Tag] |

"Phos-Tag" refers to compounds for labeling compounds with an anionic group, regardless of whether they are natural compounds or synthetic compounds. The "Phos-Tag technology", which was developed by Professor Koike et al of Hiroshima University, is a groundbreaking method for separating, purifying, and detecting phosphorus compounds. The products, which we have now developed and are marketing, are especially effective for compounds with a phosphate group. |
